I’m originally from the UK but I’ve lived in various countries including Holland, Hungary and Greece – mainly because of work and University.

I love travelling – I’ve been to most countries in Europe and across America. I speak ok French, some Portuguese, as well as a little bit of Finnish.

I’m definitely someone who always sees the positive in any situation, or at least can find something constructive. I suppose there are two distinct sides to me, one that’s a little eccentric that enjoys pure, simple fun, but also a more serious side that wants to develop and find new experiences! I enjoy being with someone whom can appreciate both aspects.

I love music, my taste varies quite widely. Socially, I would say I'm happiest sitting around a table in a nice cafe/restaurant with good food and good company, just enjoying life!

My ideal match is somebody who loves to travel and see new places - but also someone who likes the joys of home! She is a caring and romantic lady, who is genuinely affectionate - essentially someone who understands the balance between being cared for and caring for someone else.

X-Factor, pop stars who are only one step removed from karaoke singers, badly informed people with serious agendas, vacant people who list "SHOPPING" as a hobby, make-over TV shows, reality TV, people who think money has any connection to happiness, people who use little dogs as fashion accessories, people who are famous for being famous

THINGS I REALLY DON'T UNDERSTAND:
1. Bridget Jones??? She is the female equivalent of Frank Spencer, why are so many happy to compare themselves to a complete idiot
2. Heat magazine??? What is interesting about looking at morons doing their shopping or looking fat on a beach
3. Why are we happy to give greater rewards to the people that "entertain" us rather than the people who "take care" of us
