I decided to add an little more about me, any questions......go ahead and ask! I am not a stalker, a cheat, a freak.....I am a geek in training, a good friend, a decent man. If you're not decent, a game player, a mind player, shallow, or you're incapable of empathy......please do not write me.
I have retired from Delta Air Lines and in the process of seeking further employment. That doesn't mean I can sit on my derriere and watch cars drive by. I am not looking for a free ticket or someone to sponge off of. I'd rather pay my own bills........thanks for asking! I would like to have good and decent friends to talk to. I would never turn away from a special person though.
I think these single sites are great for making and meeting friends, I do also think that many people overrate themselves. I have expectations like everyone else, I have to tweak them sometimes because I may set them too high. There are some here that desperately need to do the same.
I am not afraid of long distance friendships that could develop into something more special. We must bear in mind though, someone would have to move and it is a bridge that we can cross early on or later on. I would not be opposed to moving if it were not too far off.
I have many varied interest, ideals, wants, needs, or desires of life I'd like to tackle one day. Let's talk and see if we have any that seem to match.

 | What can I say about this fantastic southern gentleman that no one else has said here. Hailing from Canada it is doubtful I will ever meet this fine man in person but one never knows. He and I have had many a phone conversation in the last 2 1/2 years of me floundering in this pond of fishies.. I have cried in his ear after troubled times and he always seems to know when I am having hard times as the phone will magically ring and its him on the other end. His offers of prayer and a kind word are more then a girl can ever ask for. His accent cracks me up and I can only imagine the smile on his face when I drop the F bomb ( which is quite often ) whether we are corresponding by email, msn, POF or the phone he always makes my heart smile.  | This Sneaks guy is a sweetheart if there ever was one. We've been friends for some time now. He is a joy to talk with on the phone. He has so much energy that he is forever doing something while talking to me, but I don't always catch it. I'm getting better though, huh Sneaks ? LOL

We talked and laughed over an hour the first time we talked on the phone. He makes you feel right at home from day one. Just truly a very, very special man that deserves everything he is looking for.
