I will be retiring from Delta July 1st after 28 years and working to get on with Norfolk/Southern in Gainesville with a little help. I'll be looking for somewhere to live while I sell my home here. Please read my profile...all of it!!! I do not like being a disappointment or being disppointed because our wires got all crossed up. We all look for something in someone, we cannot make it happen, it has to happen on it's own!!I think these single sites are great for making and meeting friends, I do also think that many people overrate themselves. I have expectations like everyone else, I have to tweak them sometimes because I may set them too high. There are some here that desperately need to do the same.
I am southern born and breed (twang included) chivalrous gentleman from the heart of Georgia. My accent sounds fine to me, so yours might sound a little funny....or at least until I get used to it.....hehehehehehe!
I am a man who is patiently traveling the road of life; knowing that a special someone will come along with whom I can share the finer things in life. Holding hands and cuddling with at night top my list of the finer things. I enjoy the idea of a romantic relationship with a wonderful Lady that I cannot be without or even live without. It all starts with a "hello" and a forming friendship. While I am on this subject, a person should not force, be pushy, or guilt me into a relationship. It will not last long and I am not up for the disappointment that would soon follow. Let's instead enjoy ourselves and discover what we can offer each other.
I am not afraid of long distance friendships that could develop into something more special. We must bear in mind though, someone would have to move and it is a bridge that we can cross early on or later on. I would not be opposed to moving if it were not too far off.
I have many varied interest, ideals, wants, needs, or desires of life I'd like to tackle one day. Let's talk and see if we have any that seem to match.
I am really beginning to work out and get my body in shape. I am
average to a bit overweight.......so I hope to change that. I would like someone I meet to be doing the same. I am not getting into shape to find the "Hottie", the "Hottie" may not be a person to have a relationship with.
Last but not near the least, I am a Christian. I will not change my faith to meet a new Lady or a Friend. I want to meet Lady or a Friend who will share my faith or have faith in Christ.
