I've recently returned to Toronto after spending a year working in Korea. I would describe myself as fun, open-minded, intelligent, caring, easy-going, and down-to-earth guy with a good sense of humour. I believe in maintaining a good work-life balance, life's too short to get stressed out and grey hairs trying to make someone else money.

What I'm looking for is someone with similar values, someone who can take a joke and doesn't mind the odd splash of sarcasm, someone intelligent and who realizes that sometimes the most important thing in life is simply having a nice big smile on your face.

The whole point of a first date is to get to know each other better and establish if there's chemistry. I don't think it matters what you do as long as you give yourself a fair chance to get to know one another. Just grabbing a coffee or a meal can accomplish this.
