MY ADVICE TO ALL YOU SEEKERS: To all of you brave women who are really trying to find "the one"-who open up their hearts and souls, and put themselves out here for all the world to see. HANG IN THERE! By it's very definition, finding that someone special isn't supposed to be easy. If it were common place-if everyone could make you laugh, make you smile, make you your face light up, and make you cry-then it wouldn't be very special at all. I hear WAY too many lovely ladies saying "I'm taking a break" or "I give up!" or "Maybe he's not really out there!" He is out there, and you WILL find him. You just won't find him overnight. But don't give up... keep believing, keep searching, and keep your chin up. And when you do find him, remember every single time you lay your eyes on him, how rare and wonderful he really is- and NEVER let him go.



About me:

I own a consulting business so I stay pretty busy most of the time, but I still find time to play too. I'm into sports-cycling, ice hockey, working out- but I've been known eat my share of pizza and beer too. I'm very spontaneous, and I have a good, although somewhat sarcastic, sense of humor (you've been warned! :P ). I've been an athlete my whole life, and have been described as "bear-like". I'm really easy to talk to you. Find out for yourself-why sit there and passively read all this when you can talk to the real thing?! For the curious-I'm not a stalker, and I'm not clingy- so even if you're just looking for friend, feel free to say hello!

I think we all get enough stress in our daily lives-I am not looking to "add" stress with a relationship, especially in the initial phases. That said, the most important thing to me is a sense of humor. If you can laugh with someone, it's pretty damn hard to go wrong.

I am ALL ABOUT giving everyone a chance, but I am NOT ABOUT b!itchy girls. I figured the girls tend to list their dislikes in this section, so I am entitled to one :) I am both surprised and disappointed at how many I've met on here that think they are the cat's ass. You may be cute, you may get 100 msgs a day... but if this is you, please move on. Hey, nothing wrong with a little attitude- BUT as the name implies, there are PLENTY of FISH, and too much attitude gets you back in the pond, lol.


I am flattered, if you're interested, but: Please be sure for you are ready to date before messaging (I think I can speak for everyone here, lol). I am running in to more than my share of ladies that are still NOT healed from their last relationship or ready to move. It's fine to discuss your past, that's how we learn about each other. But if recent break up, divorce, or separation has you complaining about your ex or wishing for the past, take some time for yourself first, before involving someone else in your life. FOR REAL, this keeps happening even after I put it in my profile for months, I am done with this, lol.

Just be real. There is nothing wrong with imperfection-in fact it can be an attractive quality if it's done with honesty.

Online dating has proved to pretty difficult, don't cha think? LOL. To make it even worse, I think some of the girls on here have gotten a little too used to guys on here who've got nothing going on and/or are desperate enough to spend their free time chasing some girl they haven't met or one went on one date with. I have a pretty busy life, both socially professionally, so that's not gonna happen here. In other words, serious inquiries only please :) If you're just trolling, trying to make yourself feel better by increasing your number of favorites, or just bored.... go bother someone else, lol.

P.S. People keep asking me why I have pictures of the Red Wings up here. These are pictures of me playing against the Red Wings-my shot at the "big time" is over I'm afraid, lol (gettin old is a b!tch), lol). They were proofs from the Detroit News. I thought they were cool, so I put em up.

I can think of a million things we could do together, and hopefully we'll share a lifetime to do them all! I'm looking for a good sense of humor, a relaxed disposition, the ability to carry on a moderately intelligent conversation (no need to impress anyone), and mental stability. A pulse is optional. I will pretty much talk to anyone-so I hope this doesn't come off as snobby-but if you're on another continent, and looking to be somebody's mail order bride, I'm good thanks! (and I don't mean CANADIAN girls-they will rock your world and they can msg me anytime :P )
