This is a difficult thing. Do we ever really see ourselves as others do? I think I'll let my friends describe me:

Second warning - he does like puns, but promises to hold it to a minimum if they drive you nuts. But as an added bonus - He is a killer cook and can do things with chocolate that you've only dreamed of...

From Katie: How to describe Keith? He moves with an unbeleivable energy and grace; his time spent on stage as an actor is obvious. He has a voice like distant thunder, soft and rumbling. His eyes are a window into his soul, and their color changes with his mood. I am in constant awe of his knowledge, kindness, and gentle spirit. I feel truly honored and humbled to call him my friend.

From Shannon: Keith loves to take care of people - and he's good at it. He's always there for his friends. His dinner parties are amazing - and he drinks good wine.

I work as an IT Manager for a non-profit publisher on the campus of a major university. I feel that I contribute to society in a positive way through my work, and I am proud of that.

I spend my evenings reading or sometimes playing (poorly) on my antique reed organ. (sometimes, I even sing along. . .) Most nights, I go around the block to my grandparent's and get their one year old yellow Lab and we go for a long walk through my new neighborhood, or walk down to the beach for a swim.

I bought an old house two years ago, and now I spend my free time getting it to match the picture in my head. I have insulated the basement and attic, painted the kitchen, rewired, fixed leaky pipes. . . The joys of an old house!

I am an excellent cook. I love to spend time in the kitchen. I enjoy cooking elaborate meals for my friends. I revel in creating desserts. I do fear that I am becoming a wine snob - I have a little tasting notebook and everything. . .

About two years ago, I made a decision to adopt a healthier lifestyle. In the last year I have lost over 100 pounds - I eat better, I take long walks every day (and in the warm weather, I spend alot of time swimming - I love my beach!), and I all but gave up cigars (I still like one once in a while on a nice night on the porch, but I am certainly not a regular smoker). I would like to find someone with similar ideals. After all, if we end up together, shouldn't we enjoy each other for as long as possible?

I am a voracious reader. I love anything by Frank Herbert (especially Dune), but not Brian Herbert. Terry Pratchett - especially the Discworld Series. Michael Crichton - especially Andromeda Strain and Terminal Man. Mary Stewart's retelling of the King Arthur legend. Anne McCaffrey's Pern series. Douglas Adams's Hitchhiker's books. Dorothy Parker. Shakespeare. Good translations of Greek classics. Tolkien. Poe. (and a guilty pleasure: Harry Potter) The list goes on. . .

I would like to find someone intelligent, interesting, and stable to share in my life - someone who wants me as much as I want them.
