Hi there. Looking to make some new friends and hopefully find a soulmate. I enjoy horseback riding, outdoors, and taking road trips to explore new places. Also enjoy nice evenings at home watching movies. I love all genres. Listening to soft music next to the fire and talking is also something I enjoy.

I really would like to meet low drama honest people who enjoy pets because I do tend to spend LOTS of time with my animals and enjoy sharing that with others.  I have two dogs and a cat so you MUST like animals.

Sometimes I can be shy and others I can be very forward. Just depends on the moment and how well I click with someone. I try to always be there for my friends and I stand up for the things I believe to be right no matter the cost. I also believe in being honest when my opinion is asked (not just tell you what you want to hear) and I value that in others.  I also think the world has become too fast paced and people have forgotten how to just slow down and appreciate simple pleasures and the gifts in ordinary everyday things. As for me I try to drink in every one of those moments I can each day and let the rat race push on without me. Each day is a gift and not a given right.  Simple is perfect in my mind. So often you will find me leaning more towards quiet more intimate settings like a quiet candlelight dinner for two as opposed to a crowded noisy place.  I can have a dark and twisted sense of humor at times and other times I can be down right goofy, but don't worry....I come with an instruction manual if you get lost LOL.

I am always open to meeting people with different interests or point of view as it gives me the opportunity to learn something new, but I have no interest in meeting people who think their way is the only way. Close mindedness is very unattractive to me. Also I have no problem with making online friends, but I would like to meet people I can spend time with as well.  I would like to start as friends an see what grows from there.  If you are the type of person who can't make time to spend with a friend or someone special we probably won't be a good match. Please don't waste my time and yours if you are flaky, judgmental, or materialistic.  Also HONESTY is a must.  I have had friends and relationships in the past where people have engaged in deception and lies.  I always say I would rather be hurt by the truth than a lie, so I prefer to find people who are up front about how they feel.  That said, I have a tendency to shoot from the hip and can be a bit of a smart ass at times so I am probably not for the thin skinned or overly sensitive.  Whether you be a friend or a soul mate I cherish those close to me and hope for that in return.

Okay I hate calling it a date since it can add pressure to what should be two friends going out to have some fun. I prefer just to look at it as hanging out with a new friend...no pressures and no preconceptions. So here are things that I think sound fun....not all necessarily on the first meeting. In fact these are just things I would like to do...if I have company so much the better.

-Visiting the new Steinhart Aquarium in San Francisco
-Visiting the Winchester Mystery House (never been there)
-Disneyland
-A trip to Monterey Bay
-A trip to Carmel
-Driving up to Lake Tahoe for the day...play some slots
-Nice quiet morning fishing
-Nice dinner at a quiet restaurant
-Visiting Old Sacramento (never been)
-Napa Valley Wine Tasting
-Load the dog in the truck and head to the beach for a walk along the water, or to some local trails
-Take a trip by train...to Truckee or someplace else pretty
-Dinner and games at Dave and Busters (never been)
-Quiet night at home with some pizza and some movies (classics, horror, action, open to all)
