Life without Love is like a harp without strings, I am a very considerate person, cheerful, honest and I always like to be myself at all times. I like reading good books, chatting and making new friends and I don’t allow the issue of race difference to stop me from making friends. To love someone is to understand each other, to laugh together, to smile with your heart and to trust one another. One important thing is to let each other go if you can't do this. As food is needed for the body, them same way love is needed for the soul. Food strengthens the body while love strengths the soul.

I like positive people and I try to surround myself with people who have an open mind, I'm looking for somebody who will take a risk and get to know me for the person who I really am. I can not stand people who judge the book by its cover, the chapters may not always be interesting but you might just learn something from reading the whole book, so what if the cover is a little worn & dusty.

Well many of the people that have come in & out of my life over the years have described me as bubbly, cheeky, optimistic, and sarcastic with a wicked sense of humour, that is infectious. Personally I believe laughter is the foundation of a happy relationship.

I am a creature of the night (I usually sit up & read till gone midnight), I just happen to prefer sitting up at night when it’s quiet & I can sit back & listen to the radio & have a cup of tea (one of the great things about being British is tea is always the answer to everything, The atom bombs been dropped oh well cup of tea?).

Summer is a month that I enjoy as I can spend time in the garden & it’s great to use my computer out in the fresh air, sat next to the apple tree I planted a few years back. I’m not a brilliant gardener but I can operate a lawn mower & plant most things that 50% of the time grow successfully.

You can usually find me enjoying one of my favourite pass times the theatre, I have seen some really amazing shows: WICKED, Phantom of the opera, CATS, Sweeney Todd, Priscilla queen of the desert, Little shop of horrors, Starlight Express, Of mice & men, Les Miserables & Mama Mia (my love of theatre should explain my name choice Lonely Phantom I thought it was original at the time).

Other hobbies I have include cycling (when the weather is good, one time me & my friends cycled to Windsor Great Park & had a picnic but that was a few years ago the weather tends not to be so brilliant now), Ice skating although I have not been for a while , swimming there are 2 swimming pools close to were I live, on occasions I have gone paint balling which is a fun activity but you do come home bruised like an over ripe piece of fruit at the end of it, I like to roller skate as well but it’s impossible to find a pair of size 11 roller blades in the shops around where I live. Golf is a cool activity that I enjoy as it allows you to vent your anger if you have had a bad day; you just go to the driving range & hit a few balls until you feel better.

My taste is music can be summed up in one word eclectic. I’ll listen to whatever happens to come on the radio I love Magic 105.4 (I’ve text them with song request & they have played what I have asked for).

I love movies you can't beat a Saturday night sat on the sofa with a good DVD & a couple of friends, I’m usually the one sat in the middle making jokes as is my nature. I can be serious when it's called for. I also enjoy writing poems.

I have limited musical ability; I can play the key board. I used too do a lot of acting & singing (back in school & at the drama group I was in) but now I only sing if it’s Karaoke night at the pub.

I love to cook & I feel relaxed in a kitchen when I have the radio on, I can cook just about anything so long as I have the recipe & ingredients. Desserts are my signature dish & I make chocolate cake that is sinfully good. I enjoy cooking roast dinners as well. If something goes wrong for me when I am in the kitchen I have it on good authority that my language would make Gordon Ramsey look like a Vicar (I do try not too swear but when you burn yourself on the oven it does tend to slip out). I am very good a domestic chores like ironing & washing (I've yet to achieve flight on a broom, must ask my Ex how she does it). Who says multi tasking can only be done by you ladies, I'm a dab hand at it.

Travel is something I enjoy. It's good to take a break now & then. You can't beat a week at the beach or somewhere that you really wanna go. I've been to Spain, France & had a few holidays here in England, I loved Devon. (There ice cream is amazing). I'd like to visit Australia as some of my family live there. I would also like to go on an African safari so I could see all the different kinds of animals in the wild instead of seeing them in a zoo. I’ve heard the Dominican Republic is very nice so who knows I may also go there one day.

What I am looking for:

First off looks are not everything, although I believe an attraction does help. I try to go for personality but I’m not sure if there will be many of you out there with a similar personality to mine. I’d have to say the first 2 things I notice in a woman are her eyes & smile, eyes as they say are the gateway into the soul & I just like looking at a warm & caring smile.

I’d like too find a young woman who I can share everything with. Of course it would be an ideal situation if we had some different hobbies & interests that way we could teach each other about them. I think is essential in maintaining a healthy relationship that we spend sometime apart i.e. when you go to the gym or out with friends I’ll go & play golf & then later on when we meet up we can discuss what we did.

I’d like too meet a young woman who does not mind being treated like a lady, I believe manners hold you in good stead so I am always holding doors open for ladies & doing stuff like that. I’d like to find a girl who appreciates being taken out for dinner without feeling the need to check her phone every 5 minutes.

I think 1st dates should be kept simple so perhaps coffee & a walk in the park, maybe dinner but it would have to be somewhere quiet where we could talk.
