Hey ladies!
My name is Ross Geller and I'm a paleontologist! I'm geeky, a little awkward, ultra competitive, romantic.. Well, okay, maybe that's not
quite me.. but I seem to get that a lot. The good news is that I'm not irritable and selfish like Ross, nor have I been divorced three times. I'm not sure why I know all this -- I don't even watch Friends.

Hmm.. where was I?
Oh yeah,
Me. I'm an easy going, and down-to-earth kind of guy.. No, no. Scratch that! For the most part I'm passionate about what I do, and about life in general. I try to soak up what life has to offer and have interests to match. I've been blessed with a great group of friends, and there is always something fun going on. Some things that would describe me: mature, giving, a straight shooter.. I'm also a bit of a smart ass, so I tend to get along with those that have a good sense of humor and irony.
Alright, so I'm not exactly a paleontologist but I do have an inner geek -- I like sci-fi movies, fantasy football, nerdy boardgames, and I am finishing up my doctorate in economics. Currently, I teach undergraduate economics and my intention is to become a professor at a local university. With that said, I promise I won't bore you with supply and demand curves [though they have been seen as 'edgy art' by my students].
On the flip side, I love playing sports and I am usually doing something every day of the week (flag football, softball, basketball, tennis). When we've gotten to know each other a little better, be prepared to learn the finer points of golf ;) Music is also big passion of mine. Although I love all kinds, I have a soft spot for metal, 80's and
good trance. Overall, my life is pretty balanced and I don't take myself too seriously.
My date doesn't have to be book smart, but she should be cultured, have a degree of sophistication, and doesn't mind a challenge. Ideally, I'm looking for someone who's passionate, a little quirky, and family-oriented. Stylish and feminine is a definite plus. Most importantly, I'm a strong Christian and would need someone who shares those beliefs. Ultimately, I hope to find a girl that has outgrown the bars, has her priorities in order, and wants to be led spiritually.
If you think that fits you, then don't wait for next season! Drop me a message!
Note: I'm in Vancouver (my hometown) visiting for a couple weeks. I currently live in Dallas.
I love to eat out and have good conversation, so dinner is a great place to start. Of course, dates where you can hit balls or putt around are lots of fun. Are you game?
