Currently I'm into:
* Running (I ran my first marathon in 2008 and I'm looking forward to the 2009 season!)
* Long-form Improv (I got into this fairly recently and I love it. I'm hoping to join a troupe asap.)
* My work. I'm currently working in engineering/manufacturing management. I really enjoy what I'm doing at the moment but ultimately, I would like to run a facility.

And now, without further ado, in an effort to show that I am an individual of utmost distinction, here's my list of fascinating tidbits about me!
*I believe that life (in Canada especially) is a phenomenal gift. The world is our oyster and we have the freedom to spontaneously do whatever strikes a chord within us, be it starting a business, taking a class, writing a pof profile, taking off to see some Mayan ruins, making the world's largest breakfast burrito, whatever....
*I like to listen to Jazz at home and House/Euro music when exercising. Pretty much anything goes when driving. It depends on how traffic's moving (though Ludacris's 'Move b*tch, get out da way' seems particularly befitting when driving on the 401.)
*I am open-minded and happy to accept people for who they are, provided that their lifestyle does not encroach on others.
*I like to cook using herbs grown in my garden.
*I love to baby-sit and hang out with kids, primarily as a cover for pursuing my true passions in life: lego and hungry-hungry hippos!
*I prefer flannel sheets. They're especially fantastic when they've just been laundered.

And finally, no profile would be complete without an indication of the type of person they're interested in:
*Having common interests is helpful, which is why I've listed lots of them.
*I'm into women who are passionate about their work and are comfortable with pursuing their interests independently.
*Chemistry is obviously very important.
*I like women (and people in general) who have a playful outlook on life, through thick and thin. I find that people too often get stressed out over things that really are not that important. We have only one life to live; Let's enjoy it!
*Most importantly, I'm looking for someone who can lie shamelessly when asked how we met.

For me, an insta-date is a great first date... basically meeting up at a busy intersection and seeing where the wind takes us.
