I remember the Days when Air was Clean, Gas was Cheap, & I had Hair..."Class of 1965".
I spent my childhood growing up in Spokane, WA & the majority of my adult life in the United States Air Force. I believe in God, Country, & Family. I'm a Conservative Christian, leaning towards Heaven, non-political party, an American-American.
I have a college degree in "Electronics Technology" coupled with "Woodworking" & "Horticulture" certifications. I'm skilled enough that, if I set my mind to it, I can do almost anything with my hands. My favorite colors are
Hunter Green &
Saddle Brown...guess that's why I feel comfortablely at home in the forest.
I'm fond of cooking, gardening, fishing, hiking, woodworking, sewing, dancing, and people in general. I dislike washing dishes, but will do them if I have to. I like all kinds of food...my greatest downfall. I enjoy a variety of music with the exceptions of RAP or Opera...my favorites being Country & Jazz.
I especially enjoy in helping others because in time it helps me. "Success often rises from the Ashes of Failure"!!! I'm a
Prostate Cancer Survivor since 2001...so I decided to live my Life to the fullest! I've seen most of the World over the years, spending numerous TDYs stateside/overseas, & stationed in Thailand, Philippines, Turkey, Japan, & Okinawa while in the USAF. When Mount St. Helens blew it's top in May 1980, We experienced the fallout three days later at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey...it caught up into the "Jet Stream" heading East.

As for pets...I don't own any. I'm stauked by my neighbor's 4 yr old Daschund/Mini Pin dog, Daisey Mae. Her owner, Mae, is 86 yr old & accuses me of stealing her dog just because I knew Daisey Mae since she was toy size, 3 mo old. I guess Daisy Mae thinks I'm her Alfa Male in her life.

I became parentless in 2005 when my Dad passed away. So here I am, a 62 yr old Orphan, Off-the-Bottle, Potty-Trained, that can perform numerous tricks, & waiting for somebody to adopt me...but watch what you wish for! About 6 months ago, I notice one night that my backyard flood lights came on. When I looked outside, there it was a young cat sitting on my deck. The next thing I knew it started to stauk me & he has been my Shadow ever since. I named my new adoption parent, Phukey...after a town in Thailand. It was a toss up between that or "Shadow" or "Escalade" because he loves to climb fences, carports & the like or jump long distance in a single bound..."Super Cat".

I learned over time to be an "Optimist" & not a "Pessimist"...the glass is always half full no matter what the circustances are, remembering the Good Times & letting go of the Bad. I've been single since 1993, we parted as friends...there was 14 years age difference. Dating now is all new to me at my age, but I'm still a kid at Heart by not taking "Life Too Seriously". Laughter is Good Medicine!

I'm a
"Hopeless Romantic" when it comes to movies & women, but I am not into One-Night Stands or Inimate Encounters. I'm kind of "Old Fashion" in that I still believe in manners & treating others like the way I want to be treated. I like to hold hands, walk along the beach or in the forest, go fishing especially with a companion, dine under the Stars & Moonlight, & enjoy good communications with the company I keep. I really miss the hugs...it's NOT the same giving them to yourself.

I would like to meet a woman that lives close to me, near my age, & is Good Hearted, Straight, Easy Going, Even Tempered, Honest, & Lives for Today, while looking toward the Future...doesn't dwell in the Past.
Life isn't waiting for the Storm to Pass...but learning to Dance in the Rain. I look for common & uncommon likes so we both can learn...Old Dogs can learn new tricks! I do have the tendency to talk allot. By the way, did I mention that I'm very prejudice? I prefer women over men...& I refuse to change!
