Now to all the *NORMAL* people, this is my “comeback” as I previously had a profile on here, but due to a few VERY WEIRD experiences, decided to delete it. However, I am back with a renewed hope that those weirdos are now away serving their sentences in the state penitentiary. Since the majority of people I have met since moving here are co-workers who are married, it's hard meeting single people without camping out at the local bar every evening after work. *sigh*
I can be quite a goofball and downright silly at times! I find humor in nearly every situation and, most importantly, in myself and my mistakes. I will talk your head off for hours if given the chance, so I need someone who will tell me when to shut the heck up already! Honesty is extremely important to me, so if something is on your mind, just say it-I know I will! I am also not looking for an immediate husband, nor anyone to pay my bills. So if you desire a meek, mild or insecure woman, you may want to refine your search and keep looking! Told ya I was honest! Looking just to hook-up? Nah, no thanks;already been there, done that (in my MUCH younger years) and even have the T-shirt to prove it! (Don't worry though, it has since been washed!)
I am an absolute die-hard gangstah movie fanatic (Pacino & DeNiro are freakin awesome),as well as a fan of all of the ROCKY movies (yes, even 5!). I even went to Philly just to run (actually I walked) up the steps to the Phila Museum of Art just to mimic my hero, Rocky Balboa!! You can imagine the stares I received as I began shadow boxing at the top of the steps while attempting my cheesy Rocky impersonation. See? Told ya I was goofy! All I ask of anyone is just be yourself; I know I will! I don’t have the time or patience to put forth an effort to even attempt to fake it. Although I must admit, you’ll get extra points if you laugh at every joke I tell, even when they aren’t really that funny. At least just pretend they are, OK? I'll let you slide on faking that.
Now, do I really expect to find my so-called "soulmate" (LOL) on POF? Odds are definitely against it, but what’s wrong with making some good friends in the meantime? I am quite the independent one, but must admit that I miss doing certain things with a significant other... snuggling, watching sports and going to sporting events, lazy weekends curled up on the couch, the list just goes on. However, I also have to admit that I do NOT miss certain things with the WRONG person..arguing over pointless & trivial things, DRAMA, negativity,frustration. I've learned from many of my mistakes at this point in my life and hope whomever I may find, whether it be for friendship or otherwise, will have as well.
An ideal date, for me, would consist of dinner and something fun……perhaps a trip to a nearby amusement park, a round of miniature golf, or even something as simple as a nice walk in the park. Anywhere we can just talk and get to know one another on a personal level. Although I do love going to the movies, that would not be a good option for me (since you have to be QUIET)… And, since being quiet is definitely NOT one of my stronger qualities, we should play it safe and go somewhere I can ramble on and on and talk your head off! (Hint: One quick way to shut me up = a very nice, slow, sensual kiss. ) After all, movies can be saved for a later date, after we actually know more of one another and feel more at ease and comfortable. We can sit home, pop in a DVD, and snuggle/cuddle on the couch! Way better than any cold, uncomfortable movie theater, in my opinion! We can even watch a horror movie and I can "pretend" to be scared. What better excuse for you to put your arms around me? If you're up for it, we could even do a baseball or football game. Then you could really see me in action as I jump up and down and cuss the umpires/referees for making bad calls. Hey, if I don't embarass you too terribly much, perhaps there would even be plans later for a second date...? Then again, maybe not... but either way, we would have both had a fun time. Wait a minute - - who am I kidding? I know *I* would have at least, and that's all that matters! LOL...
Another reason to opt out for the movies: If you happen to meet someone over dinner/drinks and you already realize that you are not “clicking” with this person (and the movie thing has already been planned), you are pretty much stuck for another two hours (at the very least) with that person. On the other hand, if you’re not feeling it with this person and you take a walk in the park, you can always break into a jog and run away, jump into your car for a fast getaway, and head straight home, log onto POF and start fishing all over again for other “potentials” (or your next “victim” as your date, who is still stuck in the park, would tell it). LOL… (OK.. just kidding about all that… but something to think about, huh??)
By the way - - I absolutely detest bad drivers! Yes, I do realize that I live in the South and should be quite used to it by now, but I'm NOT! So if you like riding the brake, enjoy sightseeing when there's nothing to see except fields of dirt and/or cows, find yourself braking in the middle of curves, or don't understand the purpose a turn lane serves, I will STILL date you; however, *I* shall do all of the driving, OK? Just hand over the keys and enjoy the ride.
