Hello, my name is Tim. I am from a small town in Illinois which makes it difficult to find a companion. I work in sales for a farm equipment dealership. It is a 3rd generation family business and I have worked there for 11 years.

My son is four years old and I have custody of him. When his mom had some personal troubles that I felt put my son in harms way, I decided it was best to raise him on my own. Everyone in town knows me as the guy who is raising the little blonde haired blue-eyed boy!

A lot of my time is spent on activities with my son. I like to take him for walks, bike rides, and am going to introduce him to camping this summer. We enjoy stopping on the way home from work for a pop and french fries. He means the world to me….but I can not watch Sponge Bob Square Pants for the rest of my life either! He does spend some time on the weekends with his mom, so I do get to have some time to myself that I would like to share with that special someone.

I used to be a storm chaser before my son was born. It is too risky to do that now that I have a child. So I have decided that I would prefer to cuddle with someone during the storm rather than chase it! Cooking is a favorite hobby of mine. It is so much easier to cook for three than it is for two so please sit down, relax, and let me prepare a nice meal for us. I enjoy the simple things in life, picnics at the park, visiting the zoo, bike rides, walks, fishing, and camping and would love to have someone who enjoys these things too.

I would like to start as friends first and see where it goes from there. A long term relationship is not out of the question, but marriage I’m just not sure about at this time. But who knows, everything can change when the right person comes along. I prefer a non-drinker (social drinks are o.k. as long as social doesn’t mean every day). I do not need my partner by my side 24/7. She should have time to herself to be with her friends and do her own things. Since I am raising my son, she must like kids.

I am quiet until you get to know me. I am told by my friends that I am funny and jokester. Honesty and loyalty are important to me. I do not believe in cheating, games, or secrets. I prefer someone who is willing to talk about things, good or bad. So if you think you might be interested in getting to know me better drop me a line!!!

we would go someplace quiet for supper , you can not get to know someone when the music is way to loud. maybe a drink or coffee afterward . then see where we might want to go on the second date . first dates are way to uncomfortable , you need at least 2 to see if more are possible
