I have different sides to my personality. The first - I like to travel, and I like adventures. Go, go, go. If I do not have any plans for a weekend, I will get out the map, select a place I have never been and then go there...just to see what is there. New cafes, restaurants, clubs, shopping, sights, sounds, & smells. Take photos of whatever is interesting -- a landscape, sunset, or the local tourist attraction (which I find funny in a Seinfeld sort of way).

I spent a number of years in university, and as a result have a job that I truly enjoy. I am fortunate that my work takes me across the country which mostly satisfies my desire to travel. Favourite cities are Vancouver, Halifax, Vegas, and San Diego. It matches the 'go, go, go' part of my personality.

I am always up for an adventure - this summer I plan on going hang gliding for the first time. I am trying to convince friends to fly to Colorado to go white water rafting.

If you haven't guessed - I am very independent and a cranky equalist. But on the other hand, I am also very much a 'girlie girl'. I like bubble baths, spa days, and get a regular manicure and I love to go shopping.

The other part of me is content at home...Reading, gardening, having friends over...painting or trying to be creative in some way....my creativity comes from using items in unusual ways...my last house the outside planter was a antique bath tub, one trellis was a bed spring, the other a wine rack. I try to be 'handy' but I scare my friends when I start using my power tools...

I enjoy most types of music and attend several music festivals and concerts each year. I also like to spend time with friends --at a pub enjoying a Guinness, cafe having coffee or a glass of wine, back yard BBQ, and I enjoy a quick witted conversation.
