I once built a functional hotrod out of poplar branches, spruce gum and discarded copper wire... then I drove it to Nunavut, set it on fire and roasted arctic char over its smouldering remains. I really wish I hadn't done that because I had to hitch hike back and I kinda miss that car.

I love music from all genres and cultures, movies and the evils of modern media. Im not your average guy. I dig the creative process, be it carved, painted, drawn, beaded, I must create.

Im trained as Graphic designer. I split my time between doing that and carving. Im pretty busy most of the time. I spend a lot of time with my kids on the weekends and don't really go to bars so I thought I would try the internet fishing thing.


I'm really into the indigenous vibe.I like people who have a positive thing going on. Im fairly educated (in stuff that most people dont care about or even know exsist) and can handle myself in heavy conversation. I like reading books about cultural philosophy, history and digging into the past. trying to understand things that are almost forgotten. Sometimes i think i was born 200 yrs too late or 200 yrs too early. But mostly I'm pumped to have been born at all. Life is Art if you let it be.

I'm looking for the girl who share my interests and philosophies, or at least, some of them. I'm looking for a simple chick with a healthy outlook on life, one that can handle that the first girl in my life is my 5 year old sweety. She must have an open mind, a kind spirit and her own car. A highly creative streak wouldn't hurt either. Honestly though , for me to take notice, your interests must include things other than 4X4ing and partying , don't get me wrong those can be fun but I mean really .... take a class, read a book, do something get excited about something. Me, I love to get excited about things.

My two kids are very important to me as well as extended family. I love to laugh, explore and create. I just moved back from Vancouver Island to be closer to my kids who are 7 and 5. One of my philosophies is that the measure of a man is how well he cares for those closest to him.
