Well someone told me it was free and it was a great way to find someone with time on their hands to shoot the breeze with, so here I'am. Not looking for anything in particular. I like to argue about politics and vehicles. I'm an arch conservative and a card carrying Republican. I love fast cars and I show cars on occasions. Oh, I'm harmless, have a great sense of humor and I love good food. Life is great in retirement. If I had known how enjoyable it would be, I would have done it earlier in my life. I have learned that friendship is a very valuable commodity. When you retire, a lot of daily interaction with other people ceases. If I were to say one thing I miss, it is the daily interaction with other people, during the course of a business day.

Well, I have been known to lavish a nice lunch or dinner, at the Sea shore, with people I would like to meet face to face. I think meeting someone on a social basis, is something you do after you have engaged in 'e' mails and/or IM's for sometime. At least to the point where you feel comfortable with meeting the person first hand. I enjoy the California Forums, where I post occasionally. I think after a certain length of time of reading other people's posts in the Forum, you begin to get a pretty good measure of the other persons character. I enjoy having a lively discussion or debate about something of mutual interest,that might force me to do some research, because we have a differing opinion about something or someone. I do enjoy a lively discourse, as I usually learn things in the process, plus it keeps my mind active. I've been known to concede a point, if I'm wrong or I've been out flanked.
