Thought for today...Although love at first sight is truly romantic, perhaps it should remain in novels or the movies. So many people go into each meeting thinking, is this the one? Hoping, setting up preconceived notions and expectations, trying to fit someone into their idea of what they think they want, perhaps sacraficing their values , losing sight of what they really want and need.

Let's be honest, if it were that easy, we'd all be taken by now :). Seems to me, many of us have confused the notion of finding the "perfect" match with not compromising our values...

Wouldn't it be great if two people could be relaxed and comfortable enough with one another to allow who they really are to come shining through on a first date....lets go for a bite to eat or have a drink at a fun spot and if things are good, go for a walk after, or a bike ride. If there is genuine mutual interest, the dates get progressively more interesting...next thing you know, we could be biking through Amsterdam or laying on the beach in Tahiti rubbing sunscreen on one another in between nights of passionate love making, mmmmmmmm. You just never know!
