Okay, I never, ever, ever know what to put here. I always want to try and say something really clever and witty, but I end up erasing everything that I type. Every time I try to think of something to say it sounds the same as what everyone else says. Cause really, we all want pretty much the same thing, don't we? Well, I guess I better say something, I can't leave this whole area blank, or no one will ever contact me, so here it goes. I would like to find someone who makes me laugh and that I can have fun with (how many times have you heard that one?), someone who surprises me every now and again to keep me guessing (except not the kind of surprise where you'd say - hey, I'm having an affair - surprise!!! Or, "hey, I just discovered I'm gay!") I'd like to find someone that I can really, really trust and someone who is honest. If you like dogs that's definitely a bonus cause I have two. Although I love my friends, I'm getting tired of answering "I went to the movies/dinner/shopping with my girlfriend" when asked how my weekend was and what did I do. I'm interested in meeting someone who I could potentially have a long term relationship with, so I'd appreciate it if you're interested in me to make sure that you really are single. I'm surprised that some people don't consider living with someone as not really being available.

When I'm meeting someone for the first time, I like to keep it casual and short. Meeting for a coffee (vanilla bean latte from Second Cup is my fave) or an alcoholic beverage is the best way to get to know someone better with little stress. Eating on a first date is far too stressfull, ie. food caught in your teeth (me, not you), dripping food down your shirt (you not me), spitting when talking with your mouth full (maybe both of us), making funny noises when you eat, etc. all-together not a good scene.
