About Me
Dating was so much easier when we were 20 wasn't it? No set expectations or heavy baggage from past relationships and life clouded the scene. We were attracted to someone, flirted and found out if our major interests and values matched.

Well, now here we are in what should be the best years of our lives. Our children are grown and we've figured out who we are. But something is lacking and we're here to see if we can find that "something". The tried and true methods from our youth don't seem to work so well now and we're widening our scope.

We all have baggage. Some have checked it at the gate so it will be waiting when they get to their "destination". Others have it on wheels and roll it behind them so they are never without it. And yet others have thinned it out to a bag they can put in a locker to take out but not be too handy. Mine is in that locker and I'm not absolutely certain where the key is. So, where is your baggage?

Here comes the hard part for most of us - talking about who we are. We have to admit to ourselves the imperfections even if we don't list them here. Sometimes we downplay our strengths so that we don't appear arrogant. We don't want to say too much so we leave others wanting to know more. Tough stuff since we want to attract a partner. What about me? I'm a mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. I'm intelligent, kind, passionate, giving and laugh easily. I find humor in almost every situation and cry when you tug on my heart. I'm most comfortable in casual situations and love to put on my comfy clothes when I get home at night. I'm neither a couch potato nor an athlete. I have a creative mind and spirit. Raised voices have no place in my world. I'm just a real person looking for the same.

I don't expect you to be a rocket scientist or prince charming. I do expect someone who will be my best friend, companion, partner and the reason for my smile. I hope that you can accept me for who/what I am just as you can expect the same from me. I haven't dated or been in a relationship for over 3 years (although I've been on here, just not active) so this is again a new world for me. Life is meant to be shared and it's time that I do just that.

I want passion, laughter, honesty, communication and time together.

By the way....my age is accurate and my pics are current. So if we should meet you WILL know it's me. Will I recognize you?

First Date
I prefer a chance to get to know someone so a cup of coffee, a drink or a walk is ideal. The key is time to get to know each other, to laugh and flirt outrageously.
