A few of the activities that I enjoy are photography, going out on the lake or to the beach (I love the water, everything from boating, to jet skiing (my favorite thing to do!!), to fishing, swimming, roasting hotdogs and marshmallows over a campfire, you name it, if it’s got anything to do with water, I love it.) I also love taking day trips, traveling, going to the movies and riding motorcycles.. I enjoy going places I’ve never been before and trying all kinds of new things. If I’ve never done it before, you can almost bet that I’ll give it a try.. Chances are, I'll love it and do it again.. But then on the other hand, I can be just as happy sitting at home doing nothing if I'm with the right person.. To me.. It's definitely not what I'm doing that makes my day.. It's WHO I'm with!!!

Friends say I'm fun to be around, I love life and don’t take much for granted.. I must say I appreciate some of the smallest things life has to offer. Here’s an example.. I love the beauty of nature… I have a birdfeeder right beside my kitchen window which has probably been the nicest gift I’ve ever given myself.. I look forward to watching my birds every single day. I love driving around everywhere, both county and city.. I can always find things I enjoy seeing.. Other simple pleasures? I’ll always love a sunset, a thunderstorm, the smell of fresh cut grass or a soft, fresh fallen snow, I love the sound of wind chimes on a windy day or the cloud formations when a cold front is coming through.. Etc….. You’ve probably got the idea.. I appreciate life and everyday that I have...

I'm a strong woman who is very honest, easy going, trustworthy and one of the nicest people you will ever know (my biggest fault). I'm stable, both financially and emotionally.. I'm confident in who I am and I know exactly what I want out of life! I'm not b***y, pushy, whiny or needy.. My kids are fully grown. 20 and 23.. They are both very successful and do not need my financial support.. I'm very patient, very loving, kind and very understanding.... I have learned from mistakes in the past, and will continue to learn from them every day to improve my life.. When the time comes that special someone will find himself a "one man woman" who will do everything possible to make the relationship as special as it can be.. I've got a lifetime of love bottled up inside my heart to give the right man.. I have no desire to play games... And, once that special man is in my life, he will be the ONLY one!

Life is too short not to be happy! I love being out and about doing things especially when I’m with someone I really enjoy being with.. If I enjoy the company of who I’m with, it doesn’t matter what we are doing (or not doing), I can have always have a good time when with the right person. Just being with someone special is what matters to me. I would love more than anything to find someone to share both the ups and downs of life with.. Someone to laugh with everyday, someone to make me smile and who can light up my eyes, someone who can put a sparkle in them and make them glow.. Most importantly I want to be with someone who wants and appreciates the same from me.. I would love more than anything to give this to someone special!

I only want ONE man in my life.. When I find the right one, he will be a very lucky man.. I've got so much love to give the right one.. I'm not needy, not bossy and don't nag. I know how to give space for personal time, I realize that in a healthy relationship both partners need some time to themselves.. I've learned alot over the years and look forward to applying it to my future.

An added quality of that someone special would be the ability to realize that I’m not perfect by any means and who could take the good along with the bad.. I always have and always will make mistakes, I usually learn and grow from them and usually feel I am a better person in the long run after making a mistake.. My special someone would be someone who can see past a little extra meat on the bones... Someone who can see how special I really am for what is inside.. What we all have on the outside will fade, wrinkle or sag over time, what is on the inside will always be there.. It's what is in the soul that counts, not what's covering it..

I guess my biggest fault other than “being too nice” is that I don’t always use the best choice of words and have been taken wrong and misunderstood.. It makes me feel bad, then, when I try to correct it, I just make things worse.. It would be real nice to know that with that said upfront that if I ever say something that doesn’t sound right that I be given the chance to correct it because more than likely I didn’t mean for it to come out bad..

I’m not on here looking for someone to take care of me, I definitely don’t need or want that!! I’m self sufficient and don’t “need” anyone and I’m not looking for anyone who “needs” me either.. I hope to find someone who “wants” to share time with me and enjoy every day until our last..

I know "when it's meant to be, it will be...." Until then, I'll just enjoy life, try new things and experience everything it has to offer me.

I believe everything happens for a reason.. I don't always know why at the time but it seems as time passes that I figure it out..
