Hi, I'm George.

So a little about myself. I put down that I'm interested in dating. I'm not interested in meeting a lot of women. I'm looking for a best friend and someone to eventually settle down into a rest of my life relationship. I know it takes time to develope that kind of trust and commitment. I'm not desperate to get there right away.
I've worked for the same company for 10+ years. It's not my dream job (thats a little later in the profile) but I'm good at it and it allows me to live comfortable and without financial worries.
I like to spend time with friends, going for drives to no where in particular, movies, tv (true crime, historical shows). I like to work/play in a shop building or tinkering with my pet projects (truck,car,welding,creating). I listen to any music that I can understand the words to, but will only dance to country. The right woman might convince me to take jive or swing dance lessons. I enjoy dining out but I'm trying to improve my cooking as well. I have several tattoos, piercings and other body mods. I don't think they (tattoos, etc.)define me. I'm still me with or without them.
I believe I am honest, have an open mind and try not to hold any prejudices.
I like to travel. The Caribbean is my current favorate destination, but I want to see as much of the world as I can. I just completed my bare boat charter certification. I'm all about the sail boat right now.Idealy I would like to buy a sail boat somewhere tropical and take tourist snorkeling when I retire from the rat race.
I'm looking for someone who likes to travel, knows what they want out of life and a relationship and will say what they want (I'm only a man so I probably wouldn't figure it out until it was too late). Some people like to think of life or dating as a game. I'm not one of those people. I'm not someone to rush into a new relationship, but if I'm interested I will consider no others.

A little about long distances. I'm not going to limit my search to this tiny part of the world. I don't mind travelling to see someone.
I like my home and have no desire to move somewhere else, but I would for the right woman at the right time if needed.
