Well, I've been putting this off for as long as I can, but I guess it's finally time to get it done. Welcome to my new and "improved" (I use that term loosely) updated profile. Hopefully, I can more accurately portray myself in this one.

If you're looking for something extraordinary or anywhere near perfect, keep looking. I'm definitely average at best.
I do, however, believe I have a few redeeming qualities. Just can't seem to think of what they are at the moment. lol
Okay, so on to the mediocrity.

I'm a night owl. I love to stay up all night, then crawl out of bed around noon. I get that second wind after dark and have a tough time getting to bed before sunrise.
I'm a kid at heart, always have been, always will be. I play video games, watch cartoons, love comics books and toys. The only difference in my toys now and the ones I had when I was a kid is the price.

I love movies, but I don't like going to the movies. I'd rather stay home and watch them on TV or my computer. Which, btw, is about my most expensive toy. I built it as a monster game machine. I like all kinds of movies..horror,action, sci fi, comedy, you name it..even those corny date movies.

I have a few tatts, which I put in places I can hide should I need to look "respectable", although that's something I try not to do.

I have a closet full of concert crew shirts and a drawer full of backstage passes from years of working as a stagehand. They are some of my most prized possessions.

Winter is my favorite time of year. I love the cold weather and getting to break out my leather jacket. Just never get enough time to wear it in my opinion.

I'm not into the club scene or bars much. I like to catch a buzz once in a while, but never been a big drinker. That room spinning thing has never been worth it to me. I can be convinced to go out and see a live band or hang out at a little hole in the wall bar. You can definitely build some confidence in your pool playing ability taking me on. If the goal was to see how long you could not get a ball in the pocket, I'd be world champ.

As far as music goes, I'm pretty much into the rock stuff, mostly flipping from the new to classic, or alternative rock stations, but I have been known to hit the Mesquite schools radio and listen to that 70's stuff where Paul Simon tells us the "50 Ways To Leave Your Lover".

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, that and Christmas..gotta love the gift giving ones. Not that I'm just into getting presents, I have just as much fun shopping for others too. Of course, I usually pick up something for myself while I'm out doing that. lol

I like long talks late into the night, mexican food and margaritas, roaming around Half Price Books, making fun of...well just about anything, going to the grocery store at 2am, and love Whataburger ketchup.

I love to read, but haven't gotten to do a lot of that in the last few years. Usually it's fantasy, or horror stuff when I do.

Best Buy is one of my favorite stores. None of my friends will even go there with me anymore because I'm so hard to get out of there.
When I get into something, I tend to go all the way, not quite obsessive about it, but close. I filled two bookshelves with DVD's before I finally started downloading them. haha

I have probably better than average computer skills, but nowhere near geek status.

I'm not really the crowd type. In a group of people I don't know, I'll be the most quiet one there. I'm much more talkative in a "one on one" situation.

I know this has all been pretty random, but so am I.

What am I looking for?..Well about the same things that everyone else says they are...that best friend. Someone like me...yeah, tall order I know. lol Someone that I care what they have to say, and they care about what I have to say. The one person that gets me...seems not many people do. Basically, that magical, rare connection that's so hard to find.

So that's me. I know this will scare some of you off, if it didn't, or it made a couple of you smile..drop me a line..suggestions that I seek psychiatric help will be made note of, and No, I've never been a postal worker.
