EVERYONE WANTS HONESTY, BUT WHO WANTS THE TRUTH? That is the question and I have found oddly enough that we can't all handle the truth (*note to Jack Nicholson, please don't yell at me)

Don't get me wrong, of course we all want our new relationship to be based on honesty !!! It sounds so great doesn't it? But - Hey who hasn't been lied to, and this applies to both men and women, who hasn't been deceived and or tricked by someone; your ex spouse, a boss or co-worker, someone in your family, a lover you thought was single or how about that slick lawyer. But lets get on with it people. Each new relationship should start with trust until they lose it, not the other way around. Sometimes being an open book can be damaging to a new relationship, because we all thought that's what we were being asked of us. I don't have any hidden secrets, or skeletons in the closet. When asked a straight forward question I am being truthful with that person. When asked a hypothetical question, I am being honest. Honesty is how you feel, Truth is what happened. Lately this seems to have gotten me in trouble. Even this message here seems to get a lot of rejections from those I have tried to contact. They don't even write back anymore?

Frankly some people can't handle the truth. (*) Truth, I'm getting older, Honestly I feel younger! For me ladies if you're still reading, I only want a women to be truthful with me when it comes to the facts, yes just the facts, and honest about feeling especially to those she cares about, hopefully me, but herself first. If you stay honest to yourself first then you'll find happiness faster. But if you still feel bitterness, or you have no trust in "men" because someone deceived you, then you will NOT be able to handle the truth* (we don't like it when you yell). The concept isn't that far fetched. I have met some really nice women in the last year, but a few are still stuck and not ready to start something wonderful and new.

Anyway - Life is full of up's and down's and nobody gets a free ride. If you are interested at all - would you kindly now ask yourself one question, "Am I ready and if you get a resounding YES, then you are ready to move on with a wonderful life ahead. If however you're hearing a little voice saying "all men are liars" and you're stuck on the differences between honesty and truth then dear reader I am afraid to say that you are not over the hurt you are feeling, be it the truth, honesty or what ever has put your mind in doubt.

To sum it up. I have been divorced long enough to know that I will be the best friend, lover and partner you've ever had. And I'm old enough to appreciate every single hour of each day. Smart enough to avoid the same mistakes twice. Determined to carry out what I promised no matter how long it takes. Spiritual enough to believe in a beyond, but not obsessed. Realistic enough to deal with life's disappointments. Honestly open to celebrate your accomplishments. Romantic enough to hold hands in public. Funny enough to see the world as it really is today. Promise to keep a smile on your face. Dedicated enough to work as a team. Nice enough to call you when you're ready. The rest of this is up to you.
