About Me

Okay time for an update. I am still renovating my house, seems to be a never ending project, but slowly coming along. Those ex-pats living in Mexico look more inviting all the time. I know I could not be away from family on a permanent basis, but I am sure I was meant to live in a warmer climate!

I would love to meet a friend to share a future with and discover new things. I say friend because lover and partner come after a friendship is built, at least for me. Family is important to me and spending time together when possible. That said, I do my own thing and don’t get in the way of the lives of my offspring. I miss being part of a couple and talking, exploring and doing the regular stuff people do when they enjoy each others company.

Managed a few (local) trips this year, Long Beach in March was great. Opted for a room on the beach with a Jacuzzi. Hmmm nice. Had a few camping trips up the Coast and to some small lakes. Still perfecting my kayaking skills (or lack thereof). Thinking of somewhere warm for January. Be nice to have an extended stay in some little village. I enjoy local culture rather than clubs, etc. STOP: so as I read this I realise my update is dated! this was 2008 - I will include new developments soon - actually I am just coming out of hibernation (winter is lasting rather long).

When I read other profiles they are so concise and to the point, they say what they want and what they are like. I’m getting the feeling I’m not doing either. Maybe I’ll come back to this later and see if I can elaborate my sentiments. Anyway I would like to chat; perhaps we can discover more with a little communication. Always open to a good discussion and hearing your point of view. No, I am not looking for a pen pal, just an intro to the next step.
