Knowing Me........I have been a mother, a wife and a sister, a lover, a daughter and an aunt. One day, should the gods be benevolent, someone might call me “Gramma”.I have had the privilege to enjoy friendships that are nearing half a century - friends who have been by my side during the highs, but more importantly during the lows. They continue to validate my existence – who I am and what I am. I love blue rare steaks and brine pickles right out of the jar. I love carpaccio with caper berries, flaming saganaki and golden baskets. I have an affinity for single malts, a crisp chablis or a robust merlot.I have ridden motorcycles and horses, tractors and elephants, dolphins and donkeys, a carousel equine named “Stargazer” and a concrete camel named “Clyde”.I have owned and cherished cats and dogs, fish and gerbils, turtles and budgies, a long haired cavy named Arnold, a blue and gold Macaw named Mickey and a palamino named Sonny.I adore painted fingernails and toenails, stilettos and birkenstocks, flannel nighties and anything you bring me home from Victoria Secret. I have shopped at Holt’s and Value Village and have received more accolades on threads acquired from the latter.

Knowing You...........I strive for happiness and contentment. I attempt to surround myself with those who are positive and upbeat. I have learned to avoid those whose moods are labile and unpredictable. I have entered the second half of my century on this earth and I wish to share it with someone who has a reasonable chance of remaining healthy and active. I am less active than I used to be, but when time permits, I cycle, blade, canoe, walk or jump on my stationary bike. I am confident I could still snap into a pair of skies, heave my butt into a saddle (I still have all my tack) or crew on a boat and not embarrass or otherwise mortally wound myself. My weight is the same as what it was 30 years ago. If you are a smoker or are trying to quit, unfortunately we would not be a good match. I have a deep sense of responsibility to my children. I believe in providing guidance, mentorship and when necessary, financial support.
