Alas it is true, I am from across the pond......Oh no, I hear you all say! I am looking for an educated guy with a sense of humor that can match my own. Oh, did I say I was a Brit?..... Well what can I say?.... You know we have a wacky sense of humor, plus I can be brutally honest at times, and yes, it has gotten me into trouble a few times!...... Seriously, I wonder why that is? go figure! He he.....


I have two great grown up kids,the most gorgeous 4 yr old twin grandaughters, so I have been truely blessed........I know what you are thinking, that I look too young to be a grandma. I have been told in the past that I am well preserved!! Don't know if that was an insult or a compliment......hopefully the latter!!


I am also the proud mom-in-law of a US Marine who is deployed in Iraq at this time. We are all praying for his safe return.......


I am a caregiver, a dedicated hard working nurse who usually puts the needs of others before myself. Nursing is and has been my life for many years, I love what I do. I love all my patients, especially my hospice families for allowing me to be part of their end of life experiences. I am honored to be part of that wonderful journey they take........

I am really not Nurse Ratched despite the rumors........(Who the heck am I kidding,she is my alter ego, I can morph into her at a moments notice, especially when I don't get my coffee in the mornings!!)........lol



I spend most of my time taking care of others, now I feel like it's time to take care of me........I have been single for several years, but now I feel ready to have someone share my life again. I have missed the closeness and the companionship that a relationship brings,and I am now ready to start the search. Love seems to have eluded me so far on this site, but I am a hopeless romantic and forever optimistic. It will take a very special guy to win my heart, but when he does, he will know...I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve at times, part of who I am, although sometimes it can be a curse rather than a blessing, can you care too much?? I often wonder........



I love all kinds of music, except some country, you know, the tunes that are so depressing, like my girlfriend left me and the dog died! lol. I am a great lover of smooth jazz, George Benson, Dave Koz and Sade being a few of my favs. My kids are often amazed that I like some of the tunes that they listen to! Who said you are too old to appreciate the music of the younger generation? lol. I also love to dance, you may even catch me on the dance floor from time to time......Oh no, did I just dislocate a hip? quick bring me a walker! lol

That depends on who I am with, but a casual relaxed atmosphere is more my style,drinking a fine glass of vino, dinner,a movie or a walk on the beach. I am not looking for marriage right now guys, so you can all settle down and relax and just enjoy the moment........:) I am just a regular gal who enjoys the simple things in life, and who is not afraid to goof off with the right person and make them giggle like a kid! I can curl up on the couch with you sipping wine and watching movies holding your hand, nothing would please me more.......... I'll stop the world and melt with you.........
