People who come in contact with say right away how sweet I am. It is said I wear my heart on my sleeve. Service to other is my life's calling and find myself spending part of my pay cheques to buy things for needy people. I get a real kick out of helping others. I love to travel and have done some volunteer work in Africa. During my time there I stayed in an orphanage in Uganda and tried my best to help out the children there with disabilities but I don't think I helped as much as I would have liked to. I would love to go back and make a bigger difference next time.

Being a special education assistant and working at an elementary school, my days are interesting and usually end with a tylenol. LOL. Caring for children with disabilities was an easy career decision because it came naturally to me and have been doing it since I was seventeen.

Humor is a major part of my life. I always try to find the positive or humorous side of things, especially when times are tough. Comedies are my favorite kinds of movies. Actors like Will Ferell, Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd and of course Jim Carrey really crack me up.

Spirituality plays a huge part in my life as well. Strong believer in something bigger than myself. Also fascinated by the possibility of life on other planets. I am open to new ideological theories and love to have conversations about them. Hiking and yoga also help to center and relax me.

Some of my hobbies are photography, interior decorating, swimming, reading, cooking and watching movies.

The ideal man for me would have to have a kind heart. He would love to help others in need. He would have a great sense of humor and not be afraid to be silly. He would have to be spiritual and not mind being around kids. Also he should know how to surf so he can teach me or at least be willing to learn with me.
