Hello, I've come to realize something from online dating... You have to slay a lot of dragons to find a prince!!!

I'm a young, single/divorced Mom to an adorable 3.5 year old little boy. I like to say this upfront, because obviously, my littlest man has to come first; so if a busy little dude that'll talk your ear off isn't your thing, than I'm probably not your thing either, and I respect that. If you have kids though, I consider that a blessing & not baggage, so feel free to write.

I am financially independant, own a small/cute home in the East end of Hamilton (been in Hamilton for about 10 years now), and have a professional career working for an IT firm in downtown Hamilton. I enjoy a great life with my son, and I am looking for that special someone to compliment our life, not complete it.

The basics - I'm 5'4", with a feminine & curvy body, with brown hair (sometimes curly, sometimes straight), gorgeous hazel/green eyes, a beautiful smile, and great legs! I love being feminine & girlie by getting all dolled up (I wear heels a lot), but I can also just throw my hair in a ponytail & ballcap, and go - I'm very versatile.

For fun, I enjoy travelling, and will do anything from an all-inclusive resort, to International travel, to road trips (been to Cuba, Japan, Italy, France, and many parts of North America). I also love shopping, occassionally scrapbooking, reading & writing, dining out (love Thai & Italian food), going to/renting movies, watching hockey (I'm a die-hard Detroit Red Wings fan), attending any live sporting event for that matter (especially hockey, baseball & football), camping (cottage country, trailer or tenting it), biking, swimming, going for walks & hikes, playing softball & volleyball, checking out local fairs, festivals, markets or antique shops, and spending time with family & friends (chatting, playing traditional board games or cards, and more).

If you asked those closest to me, they'd tell you that I'm generous to a fault (I love to spoil the special people in my life), very even-tempered (almost never get angry & like to keep the peace), kind & caring, honest, loyal & faithful, extremely organized (maybe a bit O.C.D.), very independant & stable, highly intelligent, loving & thoughtful, with a great sense of humor (sarcastic at times, and still a dry wit too).

I am interested in meeting a man that also has a lot of these same great qualities, but is also willing to be the man in the relationship. I love to be treated like a lady, and like most women, I adore a true gentleman. This might sound cliche & like I'm setting the woman's movement back a bit, but I like a "take-charge" kind of guy! It's hard to explain, but I really prefer to be the lady, and I like my man to be the man! Of course, honesty, loyalty, faithfulness, stability, caring, and a generous nature are definitely the top 6 qualities that I'd love a partner to have. However, I also think having different interests can be a lot of fun too, and I love the idea of being opened up to a new world of interests!

Hhhmmm, my ideal first date... What would that be??? I suppose coffee/tea first would make sense, but then after that it's fair game! I'd love a man that would plan/arrange the most wonderful first date! I think there's nothing more romantic & handsome than a man that knows how to treat a woman right! You only get 1 first impression, so I think it's important to make it count! (Besides, once the 'crazy' is out of the closet, there's no turning back!? LOL!!!)
