I'm 51, divorced, retired, financially stable and live in a nice home. I'm easy-going, friendly, outgoing, laid back, open-minded, and can be very funny at times. After working many years in the medical field for the federal gov't., i was eligible to take early retirement last year. I'm looking for friendship first and hopefully a long-term relationship. Someone once told me in another time and another place that people have many loves during their lifetime but only have one love with meaning. The many loves are merely images of a dream. The one love with meaning is the dream.

The first date always hinges on that magic connection and if you are instantly attracted to that person. Meeting at a nice place for lunch is always nice. Going to a quiet place is nice as well. Just getting to know the person is what the first date is all about.
