I moved here from Boston about a year ago with my best friend. We're running a startup, which is my dream job but a lot of work. We moved here to get a change of scenes (especially me, since I lived in Boston my whole life), plus an upgrade in weather. The SF natives seem to think 50 degrees is cold. :) I'm living in north beach which is really nice, with a balcony view of alcatraz... you don't get that in boston. I still like Boston a lot though. My parents, my dog, and a lot of my friends are there. Though my friends seem to gradually be gravitating towards SF, and I'm thinking about getting a dog here soon.

I've worked very hard for the last several years, and still do. But now that business is going pretty well I've started to mix things up a bit more. Running and a painting class are both new hobbies, plus I'm getting back into weight-lifting and martial arts. Still keeping an eye out for another good hobby. Every once in awhile I think about getting back into chess (which I used to play pretty seriously as well as teach), but it's very time-consuming... always up for a game though. Anyway, open to suggestions on the hobby front.

I also want to do some traveling, which I haven't really done for a few years. I've been to a lot of European countries on the way to South Africa (where I have family), so I'm thinking somewhere completely different like Thailand or Central America.

I've made quite a lot of friends since I moved out here but I still haven't met a girl I really like.

Looking forward to trying out a bunch of new places in SF.
