At 51 yrs old I didn't expect to find myself on a dating web-site, but here I am. I have been widowed for 4 years and it's time to "step out of my box" and start dating. I find myself being lonely and wanting a special man in my life. I would like to find a friend, someone to "do things with"...dinner, a show, the theater, a ball game...or just a quiet evening at home. I have great friends and family, and they have been very good to me...but I still miss all the intimate times with a man.

A first date is always uncomfortable...but I'm a people person and usually don't have trouble talking to "new" people. I prefer not to make bigs plans so that we are not disappointed...
As long as we treat each other with respect and yet have fun...everything else should fall into place...
