Outside of work, I am a music enthusiast. I play the trumpet at the amateur level, and also dabble in trombone, saxophone, percussion and drum set. I am currently a member of two community bands - a Big Band (swing) and a traditional Wind Ensemble.
I enjoy singing, though have not had any professional training.
I am interested in, but don't know a whole lot about classic cars - though I know I would like to own a 1967 Classic Mustang Fastback... zooom! I however, drive a new VW Rabbit ... so, not quite a Mustang, but it is really peppy and gets me around!
What else?... Well... I like to read, take walks, go to the gym, LOVE animals... (especially dogs!) and do coffee with friends. Please note: slight addiction to coffee, especially Americanos! Nothing beats sitting on a comfy couch with a good cup of coffee in front of a fire, or watching the Canucks!
I am an educated person and am planning to start a Master's degree in September 2010 with a specialization in Adult Education and Post-Secondary Studies. Should be a blast!
I value someone with a curious mind, a down-to-earth personality, an honest nature and a sense of adventure. I am not overly particular about looks, but my male match must be educated, must love good conversation, have enough gutts to tell me when I am full of it, and overall, must have a good attitude about friends, and hold in high priority family and learning.
