Well...ultimately I just want to be happy with someone I can love, who loves me in return. Someone who wants to be with me, not attached at the hip but can't wait to be back with me when they're away. I am looking for someone who is honest, dependable, intelligent, knows when to be serious, has a good sense of humor, is able to have a real conversation, values my independence but is not afraid to express his opinions and is FUN. Doesn't sound like too much to ask for :) I am usually pretty quiet on my own so I like being around outgoing people. I like to read and am very artistic. I also like to camp, hike, the beach and day trips are always fun. I have a few old fashioned morals but I have a wild side too if I am around the right people. I have a 5-year old daughter and she is my pride and joy so this special someone will have to like family type events as well as the one-on-ones. I really want someone who I can lean on when I'm not at my best, someone who is a good listener, a real friend and partner. I want them to feel comfortable leaning on me when they need a shoulder too. I believe in friendship first because my true match will be my best friend and I will be his.

It would be really nice to have lunch or dinner, some place where we can talk, get to know each other. Then, if it's working out, a nice walk on the beach. I like surprises, so as long as it's somewhat sweet, fun, or romantic, I am up for about anything.
