Calgary Sunday Breakfast/Brunch is a regular forum that I post in,but I don not limit myself to just that one, but I do show up at the selected location after 12:00p.m. Too late for breakfast, but not too late to socialize!!If I happen to send you an email, there could be some spelling mistakes as I have a tendancy to not re-read what I have typed!! A long time ago, before television was in every home, a young couple gave birth to a strapping young lad, he grew up, got educated, got married, had kids, got divorced and worked his butt off to survive. That young lad was me.
I work a full time job and a part time job, but I have a rule of no work on Sundays, we all have to rest sometime.
I like to dance, play golf, dance, play cards, see my kids, dance and go out and have a good time and may even have a dance or two...Did I say I like dancing???
Life
is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get until the happening comes along. I live my life with no great expectations other than making the most of what is happening each and every day. I would like to have someone with similar interests and lifestyle to share these happenings and perhaps, create some that were unexpected, as I find that there are times when I want to hold, snuggle and let things happen.
There is a time and a place for every ones dreams to be fullfilled, my dream is that everyone I come into contact with will appreciate me for who and what I am. I shoot from the hip, but I also have a soft shoulder to lean on.
If you think you know me, don't be too sure unless you actually have met me, even then, doubts could arise!! I am as complex as you think I mignt be, but at the same time, as simple as pie.
Treat me with kindness, you will get it back ten-fold. Honesty is a must, a lie hurts more than one person, and soon another has to be told, so the best practice it to keep it straight.
I enjoy coffee, board games, dancing and Texas holdem, winter is coming, so skating, snow ball fights and even building snow angels is not out of the question. Soon, these types of games will be a daily thing to keep the mind and body active, care to join me?
Here is my joke of the week section
Meter Inspection
Two gas company servicemen, a senior training supervisor and a young trainee, were out checking meters in a suburban neighborhood.
They parked their truck at one end of the alley and worked their way to the other end. At the last house an older woman was looking out her kitchen window watching the two men as they checked her gas meter.
Finishing the meter check, the senior supervisor challenged his younger coworker to a foot race down the alley and back to the truck to prove that an older guy could outrun a younger one.
As they came running up to the truck, they realized the lady from that last house was huffing and puffing right behind them. They stopped and asked her what was wrong.
Gasping for breath, she replied,
"When I see two gas men running as hard as you two were, I figured I'd better run too!"
