As for dating, I am steering away from women with children. I understand there is an internet ritual when it comes to courting a woman. Usually one of us initiated a dialogue, one of us responds, we chat on instant messenger or exchange emails. We then speak on the phone until we feel comfortable enough to meet in person. This process alone can take weeks even months. Then, finally you meet and with in 2 minutes of meeting this person, you realize instantly there is no connection or attraction. What's the moral of that story? Just meet as soon you both you can for a quick meet and greet. Determine there and then if you want to meet again!!! Meeting like this will statistically speed up the process of elimination which in the end is what Internet dating has become. Get passed all the delusional speculation of wether you fit or not by meeting.

Also, on a final note I am also open to networking and making new work related friends/contacts who work in various aspects of the film and tv industry.

First "Meeting" should be short, simple and sweet! Nice to get a first impression and then decide from there if a second meeting is in the cards.

I prefer to meet in a public place and simply walk and talk. Not a big fan of meeting in crammed in coffee shops for Starbuckers to listen in. We can walk in the park, in a mall, on street and decide from there if we even want to meet again.
