I am an honest, sensitive and affectionate man. I live in Southampton but work in Portsmouth. I can be quite shy at first however, I am a positive person and can carry a decent conversation but as with most men I'm afraid I don't like talking about shoes!

I would like to meet a girl who is generally positive even if they are unable to express this 100% of the time. A happy smile is always good. Genuine behaviour is the most important.

I have worked for HMRC for five years. Varied jobs with them - not always to do with tax. I nominally have my own business selling computers, giving technical advice and web-hosting. I say nominally as have not had time to get it going!

First dates would be going to pubs and restaurants, the cinema, on walks and going to new events around the area etc (i.e. NOT clubbing/partying every friday night - been there done that - very unoriginal) and sometimes my place to watch a rental dvd, be all snuggly or have a quiet meal in. In the long run it would be nice to meet someone with whom I could develop new interests, go on holiday with and eventually settle down with. However this isn't the right time for me to be doing that at the moment.
