I'm originally from AL but have lived all over the US and in Europe. I am a very honest, open woman looking for the same admirable qualities in a southern man. Interested in dating, making new friends and just looking to see what life has to offer.I love to live life to the fullest and find joy in most any activity. I was happily married for 25 years and believe it is better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all. Being positive and upbeat is my true nature as I look at the glass half full. I would like to find a man that makes me laugh and that I posses the ability to entertain him. I love to talk, but I do like to listen to someone that has interesting stories to tell. I love to attend college sporting events or content watching them on TV....I enjoy the theater, movies, walks in the park, live concerts, traveling...although I am satisfied with the world I have already seen so far. Not into Nascar, hunting, camping, etc...will go fishing as I love to be on the water. I enjoy feeling alive and will try almost anything within reason once. I'm confident I still have a lot of life to live and a lot of love to give possessing boundless energy and am in good health mentally,spiritually,and physically. Interested in being open and honest from the start. We're not getting any younger, so let's not waste any more time......
First Date
First date....do people still date?? Being an old fashioned kind of girl, I still like the way we did it "back in the day" when boys called girls, but I realize times have changed...some for the good, some not. There is no "perfect" first date and certainly no right or wrong way to go about dating. Meeting in a venue that allows for conversation where both parties are comfortable would be my choice for a first date...a coffee house that plays jazz, a small, quite restaurant for lunch, etc. Talking, sharing, becoming friends is very important and having the opportunity to get to know one another is essential to see if there is chemistry.
