Let's see... What to say... I'm kinda' new to the dating scene. My wife of 10+ yrs. passed away a few yrs ago, so I'm looking for the 2nd love of my life. That explains my headline. I think that I'm an average NYC guy... I enjoy riding my bike along the Hudson River, going to museums & art galleries, going to Shea to see a Met game, going to a local dive bar to see my buddies band play, movies, etc...
I live on the LES in a pretty cool 2 bedroom duplex apt. w/ my roomate, cat, dog & fish.
I guess if you have a problem w/ roomates, cats, dogs or fish, it's not gonna work out.
I'm trying to quit smoking right now... It's going ok, but I'm cheating a little bit. I think that if I found a woman who doesn't smoke, she could keep me busy, so I wouldn't think about it that often.. Plus, I've seen that alot of the really good looking women in the city don't smoke, so it's added incentive for me to quit. Right??
That's all that I can think of right now.. I'd like to keep some of the mystery alive for when we meet...

I think that my perfect first date would go something like this....
We'd meet somewhere close to your apt., since I'm a gentleman and would like to pick you up. Of course, we have the same taste in food, so we agree to go to Chinatown and eat in our favorite rest., Wo Hop. From there, we'd go to a bar, have a few drinks and then off to a movie. I'm not sure which one, but it doesn't matter too much.. After the movie, we'd stroll around the EV or LES, maybe hitting another bar or two for a few more drinks. By now, it's getting a little bit late, but there's one more thing I'd like to do.. We're off to the Staten Island ferry for a round trip along the beautiful Hudson River and check out the stunning NYC skyline at nite. If you've never done this, you're really missing out!!! It's great(and free).
It's gotta be close to sunrise by now, so we're in a cab back to your place.
