Im looking for a friend who inspires me to perform at my highest level. the right chemistry is important. I define chemistry as a myriad of physical and mental "features" many of which are outside the perception of the conscious mind. I am an artist trapped in the body of a degreed engineer. My passions are music, travel, the outdoors, animals , people (children and the elderly included because exposure to them is good for the soul) I intend to make each new day better than the last if that is possible. I am a poet and I am unpublished at the present time and probably will remain so. So be it!
I consider myself an artist trapped in the body of a trained engineer. "chemistry "is very important in a relationship . I feel that its actually a myriad of physical and emotional factors some of which are barely perceptable to the conscious mind. my favorite movie is "dances with Wolves" because of the beautiful relationship depicted in it !! (and the musical score is fantastic!) Im looking for a friend with the prospect of a lasting relationship and possibly at some point matrimony . My "passions are travel music and the outdoors and I would prefer that a friend have the same interests. Someone who is physically fit or at least wants to be. Ive found that emails and pictures are a very poor substitute for a face to face meeting. Only then can we truly determine if we have the right "chemistry" . Im sure that were all agreed on this. It also seems that the longer we play the " game" , the less likely that any two will actually meet. The reason could be that we all tend to find some reason or excuse (if you will) to avoid the "ultimate goal" of a fruitful meeting! (By this I mean a meeting at which both persons involved find the other to be "suitable" such that they would like to "date" them for a second time.) Is there any one out there agrees? Thats the person I'd like to hear from. Im a successful professional with a degree from UT in engineering. I am a very happy person. Im looking for someone to SHARE my happiness with. THEY ARE NOT WHO THEY PRESENT THEMSELVES TO BE , AND AGAIN, THIS INCLUDES A NUMER OF MOTIVATIONS SUCH AS MARRIED AND CURIOUS, OVERWEIGHT AND SHY, DEVIOUS AND GAME PLAYING, EVEN ATTEMPTS TO PROCURE SEX OR MONEY OR BOTH. SECOND, THEY ARE WHO THEY PRESENT THEMSELVES TO BE BUT CANT FIND THE COURAGE TO ACTUALLY RISK MEETING A MAN WHO MIGHT BE A PREDATOR OR A "GOMER" (WOMEN). MEN HAVE TO BE CONCERNED WITH FEMALE IMPERSONATOR, A SCAM TO GET MONEY, AND A WOMAN WHO HAS MISREPRESENTED HERSELF WITH EITHER SOMEONE ELSES PICTURE OR PICTURES TAKEN MANY YEARS AGO. SOME WOMEN ,I THINK, ONLY WANT TO GET INVITED TO DINNER AND PROCURE A FREE MEAL FROM EACH "SUCKER" WHO TAKES THE BAIT. (AND THEN THERE ARE HOOKERS)

BUT ENOUGH OF THIS, I FIND THAT THE INTERNET HAS MORE MISREPRESENTATION THAN IT HAS TRUTH (AT LEAST IN THE REALM OF MATCHMAKING AND THOSE "CONGRATULATIONS YOU ARE THE 1,000,000 TH TO ENTER OUR WEBSITE". YOUVE SEEN THESE IM SURE. ALSO THE PAY-AS-YOU- GO MATCH COMPANIES DO NOT WANT YOU TO HAVE INSTANT SUCCESS AND THEY ARE VERY PLEASED THAT THE MISREPRESENTATION I PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED IS PREDOMINANT . AS FOR OUR PROPOSED MEETING I TO (AND THE FACT THAT I AM A TRAINED ENGINEER HAS SOME BEARING ON MY ATTITUDE AS WELL AS RECENT EXPERIENCE) TEND TO BE MORE CAUTIOUS THAN I ORDINARILY WOULD. I MUST ADMIT A GREAT DEAL OF SURPRISE RESULTED IN RECEIVING YOUR MESSAGE. BUT IT IS REFRESHING TO GET SUCH A "BOLD" AND FRANK MISSIVE FROM ANYONE OF THE OPPOSITE GENDER. (IM AVOIDING USING THAT 3 LETTER WORD) IF YOU DONT FEEL THAT WAY THEN THAT MAKES YOU SOMEWHAT UNIQUE. AND UNIQUENESS CAN BE A GOOD THING- TAKE THE DIAMOND FOR INSTANCE.

What i would do on a first date would depend entirely upon the person whom I am with. It should be a mutual decision between both parties involved. Refer to my "passions" in my "description" to get a sense of what would be most enjoyable to me.
