I would like to start the next phase of my life with someone beside me that will see in me all that I see in them. I am just a regular guy, and I try to not act above my raising. I am also a very good judge of human nature and character, and can spot a phony from a mile away. I am not easily fooled.

I am very sympathetic and loving, empathetic to other peoples' feelings, and at times too emotional for my own good. I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve when I set my cap for someone, and I do not fear commitment or giving love even if it is not returned in kind. I have never regretted loving someone, but I do regret not having someone to love now.

I'm not a player or a user - please be the same if we contact each other. When I love someone, I love and accept them for who they are. Their good qualities are appreciated and cherished, and their quirks are accepted as I would want them to accept mine. I don't care what kind of car you drive, how much money you have, who you know or what you have. And I look for the same in my friends and in a potential mate.

I will not waste your time or mine, and I will not settle for someone that is not right for me just to keep from being alone. I like my solitude at times, but at other times I desire the company of a special woman that can light up my world as I would light up hers.

If you really know your own heart, and what you need to be happy in this one life we all have, then listen with your heart. Sometimes love will find you when you least expect it.

What we do on a first date is not as important as how we relate to each other. Dinner and some quiet time together talking and getting to know one another would be ideal.
