Let's see, I hate small talk, but I like to think I'm pretty good at it. I know just enough about philosophy to make me screwed up for the rest of my life. I like art, reading (Confederacy of Dunces is the best book ever), hiking, and going out in my canoe.
I'm hoping to meet someone fun that doesn't take themselves too seriously.

I think it would depend on the person. I would probably make the first date very boring as a litmus test. If we have a good time regardless of the activity then that means we can have fun doing anything. If we have a miserable time then I should probably keep looking.
