10. An engaging conversationalist. I can jaw on for hours. I will make you laugh at me; and I will laugh with you as well. I can make you run your mouth off too, probably to your surprise as well... Any shy girls up for the challenge? :)

8. I find intelligence, talent, literacy, talkativeness (!), geekitude (!!), glasses / bangs / dimples (!!!) to be huge turn-ons, but except for #1, 3 and 4, none are prerequisites.

7. I listen to music a lot, and sing well, if I may say so myself. Classic Hard rock (think Aerosmith, Hendrix, Grand Funk, Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top) and 80's (from New Wave, Hair Metal, cringe-inducing House/Electronica all the way to old school Thrash Metal and most everything in between). In between consists of a wide, disparate range of artists that include Bruce Springsteen, Joni Mitchell, Genesis & offshoots, Yardbirds & offshoots, Pet Shop Boys, Alice In Chains, Queen, Madonna, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Johnny Cash, Doobie Brothers, Muse, Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band, Van Halen, Uriah Heep, Jethro Tull... Phew, pauses to inhale...

6. I can't carry a riff or a melody in an excavator bucket, I can actually strum dozens of whole songs on the guitar. And if you're up to it, I can teach you just enough basics to learn quite a few songs on your own as well....

Depends. If we're meeting from online, I'd prefer to have a simple 'meet-up' first, simple coffee/beer/ice-cream whatever, before we decide if it is worthwhile enough to tackle an actual 'date'. For a first date, it will include drinks/dinner, and lots of conversation. Other activities can be discussed.... I'm a very open man. It almost certainly won't involve movies/theater/recitals, or any other activity that will involves us to be passive observers or props to some spectacle.

All said and done, for a First date, my preference is a quiet diner/bar/restaurant, us sitting on barstools or at a small table eye-to-eye, and letting our personalities go to town on each other and see we do have that almighty elusive "Chemistry".
