Hello.

I'm an active individual, who has a wide variety of interests ranging from nearly any type of sport to nearly any type of book. Silly / stupid humor is the way to go, even (or maybe especially when) it doesn't make any sense at all. I keep active on a regular basis, and pride myself in staying in good physical condition. Hockey, volleyball, and ultimate are three of my favorite activities. I'm currently wondering about the benefits and/or sanity of doing a cleanse as that seems to be all the rage these days.

I definitely have my geek side as well. My favorite book series of all time is the Wheel of Time and I have a fondness for board games, especially those silly strategy based ones.

I'm currently working towards my Certified Management Accounting certification, which keeps me pretty busy. I have big plans for that in the future. Always have to have goals in life. I like to keep up on the financial / political scene, in spite of all the bad news lately. It's got to get better, right?

I'm really looking forward to the summer at this point. Can't wait to hit the mountains to do some hiking, although I am enjoying the winter skiing. I've managed to get out more than a few times so far this winter which is great. It would be nice to do some longer trips as well, as traveling is always a blast. From prowling the Louvre in Paris to setting up a lone tent on a secluded beach in Ireland, to dancing in the rain after a small a cappella show in Venice, travelling creates some quality memories.
