Hello, I'm John.

Born and raised in the Cowichan Valley, I am an engineer in trade, an inventor in mind and a farm boy at heart. I enjoy the local music, sports and theater. The local pubs are a great place to relax and chat with my friends or shoot a game of pool. I'm a lot like Indiana Jones in that I am always up for an adventure and exploring the mysteries of life, when I am not at work I am out making it happen. I love to educate myself all the time, and enjoy trying anything twice. My favorite movies are Back to the Future because I feel I am both Marty and the "Doc", stamping my impression in time and having a fun time while I am at it.

On a sizzling day my adventurous side leads me to hopping in my Supra for a drive in the countryside, taking my dirt bike for a ride up the mountains, a cruise in my boat up at Lake Cowichan, or a run around town on my crotch rocket. When the rainy seasons come round, I am always up for some movie marathons, but also enjoy the amazing views out at the beaches of Tofino and Long Beach. On cold days with snow, I am off to Mount Washington, love the feeling of powder flowing over my head as I head down the mountain face. Also enjoy the O-Zone tubing there at night time. Warming up to a fire with a drink or lounging in a hot tub are my favorite ways to relax.

Other important areas in my life are my fitness, family and friends, though not necessarily in that order. I enjoy working out and participate in intramural sports. I am proud member on one of our local Beer League Baseball teams, I play second base and am awesome at bat. "Go Titans!" I enjoy spending time with my guys, relaxing around the house or out and about, but will gladly kick them to the curb to spend some time with a quality companion. If you're that troublesome type who's mouth often gets heated debates started, I'm cool with that. I'll just keep some bail money in reach.


I'm looking for a lighthearted woman between the ages of 20 and 28 who enjoys the humorous side of life. If you are a woman who can be a total farm girl but then in the evening shed off the tough girl and be a real woman and enjoy a wonderful dinner with myself, then we may be a match. 1) We can go for a cruise in my Supra, then find a great place to have a meal and chat.

2) You can suit up and strap on the back of my dirt bike or crotch rocket and go for a fun ride, then settle down at a coffee shop for a drink and talk.

3) Go for a walk in a park or waterfront, then over to a local pub, have a meal + drink and enjoy a game of pool.
