As an ex-Californian of many years, the slower paced life-style of western NC is wonderful (but do miss the ocean and fresh seafood). Have managed, over 13+ years here, to switch allegiance from the SF 49ers to the Panthers. Since being widowed, I miss traveling (even day trips) and impromptu meals out (love ethnic foods .... particularly Thai). I'm reasonably outgoing, but not a "conversation hog", enjoy meeting interesting people and hearing about their experiences. I'd like to meet a kind, decent, intelligent man to explore common interests.

Meet somewhere for a cup of coffee, or possibly lunch? Safe and "no pressure".
