I've realized my profile info needed updating since I haven't changed it in some time. I've been in Philly for three years now and I'm finally beginning to realize what the city has to offer and its potential. I'm an art therapist providing services for individuals diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness. Every day at work is a unique experience and I enjoy every minute of it. I'm extremely passionate about what I do for a living and plan to obtain a doctorate in psychology or pursue psychiatry...time will tell which path I shall choose in the near future. In addition to my profession, I'm passionate about anything and everything that has to do with art...viewing, creating and discussing. On my spare time I mountain bike, paint, sculpt, print, shoot photographs, go to galleries, smaller bars, museums and the great outdoors. Personality wise, well not to sound egotistical, but I'm mellow and laid back trying to find the positive in any situation. If you want to know more ask away for curiosity is a means of knowledge.

For the first date i don't expect anything grand, just a good time. Somewhere we can go and get to know each other, somewhere quiet so we don't have to yell at each other in order to carry a conversation. It could be anywhere from an art gallery, museum, coffee house, a nice small bar, the park, a lake, anywhere really. i believe that getting to know a person's interests, hobbies, likes and dislikes is important if you want to really get to know someone. I could be shy at times and if the person i'm with can carry a conversation, i don't have a hard time joining in and adding to it. At the end of the date i don't expect anything but a hug would be nice, depending on how the date went.
