Former farmer's daughter, former Boston teacher, long-time Ozarks commune resident, now a heady mix of all of that currently hovering on the edge of suburbs while the city threatens to engulf me! I'm an intelligent, emotionally centered woman looking for activity partners, hang-out friends, and a long-term relationship which may or may not come wrapped in the same person. My kids are out on their own, my freelance editorial business is well established and now I have the time to think about creating a separate life for myself. What an adventure (in a kind of scary way!)!

I love riding my bike on the trails and discovering new stretches along the river. I like playing volleyball and tennis and lounging around the pool on summer afternoons. I like to drive, both to travel and to explore backroads just to see what's around the next curve. I enjoy talking to my kids who grew into intelligent, caring, interesting adults and hanging out with my grandson who may be the most beautiful, precocious, charming person the world has ever seen. (Biased opinion? I don't think so!)

I'm looking for a happy man to have fun times with and maybe it will deepen into more than that.

Let's meet in Costa Rica and find one of those rainforest jungle canopy walks. We'll walk and talk and laugh together and tell outrageous stories while admiring the brilliantly colored birds and beasties in the foliage around us. At one of the lookout platforms (I have no idea if there are such things--this is total fantasy), we'll spread our picnic lunch and spend hours chatting and snacking and sharing our wonder at the awesome place.
