Hi...I grew up on the East Coast and moved to LA in '04. So far, so good...I love the diversity of cultures, the weather and especially my seven-mile commute to work. I know that I haven't had to face a major disaster, yet...unless traffic counts.

I am a middle child--both of my siblings also live in LA, and I like that. I'm kind of quiet until I get to know someone, then I think I might talk too much. Several people have said to me something along the lines of, "I remember when you never said anything," like those were the good old days.

My parents are very worldly and exposed us to many cultures growing up, mostly with food, so I like eating out at different types of restaurants. Both of my parents are great cooks and I also like to cook, but that's still a work in progress. It's fun anyway, but I hate my little kitchen.

I'm not a workaholic, but I put in a good days work. I'm not going to get rich doing what I'm doing, but I'm not going to have to live under the freeway, either. In a perfect day, I'm home in time for the third inning of the Red Sox games. That's about 5:15 for you non-baseball fans.

I'm not here to fool anyone or play games. I am what I am (didn't Popeye say something like that?). I'm a regular guy. I strive for a nice balance between my work life and my real life. I am at a point in my life where I am looking for the potential for a long-term relationship. I hope I'm not scaring you away by that, it doesn't mean I want to get married this weekend, but I can't wait to get off this site!

I'd like to meet for that cup of coffee or a drink in order to show each other that we are who we say we are. I know judgments are quick in the online dating world, so I'm hoping to create enough of a comfort zone for both of us so we can then have a real date...then you can judge me all you want!
