I retired from a career in public education and moved from the midwest to Las Vegas three years ago. I enjoy being active outdoors - an advantage of living in Vegas and having access to the desert and the mountains - and like to travel. Movies, reading, family and fun all are high on list of things I enjoy, as much as just relaxing with someone special. I take an interest in current and world events and in the environment; fairly liberal in my political views and considerate of others. I'm physically active, in-shape, and would like someone to hike and/or bicycle with or go to the gym, or whatever sports you like. At one time in the past I learned how to ballroom dance and would be interested in doing that again. I don't have an interest in riding Harleys or in Nascar but like most other sports and activities. Being retired my time is very flexible and I have time to travel as well as for fun, romance and adventure. I'm fairly low-maintenance and dislike unnecessary drama in a relationship. As far as drinking, if there had been a choice for "hardly ever" then I'd have marked that.

A match for me would be someone who enjoys the outdoors, likes to read, is physically fit, enjoys being active outdoors, wants to travel, enjoys movies, etc. Like so many of us I'm looking for that one last great romance. (Please have a photo posted or be willing to email one, it's only fair.)

The first meeting, not technically a date, should be casual and in a relaxed setting, perhaps meeting for coffee. If things go well then maybe a walk together that will allow more time to talk and to get to know one another.
