I'm an optimistic, honest and faithful man (ya, there's one left) who works extremely hard. You must be willing to allow me to give up my life for 3 months out of the year (tax season) in exchange for a lot of time off during the remaining 9 months! I am a gentleman and will ALWAYS open your door for you, etc. My profile says I'm a smoker, but I'm getting REAL close to quitting! I just need that extra incentive (maybe YOU) to help me out with it! lol I've lost 25# in 2009, and the next goal is to quit smoking!!!

I've never had to do this "dating" thing and yes, it's no fun! I'm extremely family oriented and am certainly not a "player" and never have been. I've just not met the woman that is right for me. I don't like negativity and MEAN PEOPLE SUCK! I'm educated and professional but also like to remain young! I still enjoy the bars although would rather be home with my family.

As I like to remain young I would prefer to date someone younger, although an older woman is definitely not out of the question. This also lends to the fact that I would like to have at least one child. I would prefer someone between the ages of 21 and 35, although age is only remotely relative. As long as you're looking for an educated, professional type who still likes to "Shake It Like a Salt Shaker" on Friday night, it's all good! lol

The girl in the pictures is my ex-girlfriend's daughter. We've been apart for over 2 years but I still see her frequently as she still knows me as "dad" and I love her as if she were my own. The ex is not an issue or never will be (I rarely see or speak with her).

I'm not photogenic at all so don't let my pic deter you from meeting a nice guy! I've been told (and judging by the smiles I receive! lol) that I'm much better looking in person. Besides, I'm not the Mac Daddy that's gonna pick someone up at a grocery store or gas station! Attraction is only a small portion of a relationship but it's normally where it begins. I'm no Brad Pitt, that's for sure, but if I've looked at your profile I've probably dated someone that's at least as cute as you are (i.e. you're not outta my league)! lol As you can see, I'm realistic as well!

If you've read this far, thank you for your time! Don't be afraid to be one of the 26% of the "bolder" women who email first! Nothing ventured, nothing gained! I'm somewhat shy at first and have had some weird experiences with this "online thing", thus I don't send out too many "first emails". I do warm up quickly though and if you have a sense of humor you'll be laughing before long! In addition, I assure you that I'm not a serial killer, rapist, murderer or anything remotely close to some of the freaks that I've heard about on these sites that ruin it for the normal people!
