Graduated from art school (England) am a free lance commercial artist, training to be able to launch myself into a new career as a fine artist. I live on a 25 acre hobby farm with two horses, 14 chickens and my dog Seth.

Here are a few of the things I know: I love being in love, I love adventure, I love art, I love to laugh, I love to debate, I love God (but I am not religious), I love the water, I love a snow storm, I love my animals, I love my tractor, I love my family, I love to paint, I love cooking, I love fresh laid eggs, I love my wood stove, I love dark chocolate, I love my diesel truck, I love meeting new people, I love a good honest friendship, I love a large double, double, I love to walk my dog every morning, I love life and want to live it to the fullest, I will never retire. I love reading, I love music, Leon Redbone, Leonard Cohen and much more, I love food and most of all I would love to talk to you!

Having read a fair number of your profiles I have noted your concerns so here is my answer to a few of them. Honesty? at the time of writing this I am 62 years old, born May 14, 1946, I can easily get away with telling people that I am in my early fifties but I choose to be honest as I am in all matters. Playing Games? Come on ladies are we all not playing some sort of game on here? We are all little 3/4” squares at on line birth followed by what we hope is our best sales pitch, but know I do not play games with peoples emotions and expectations. Photos? To be quite honest I do not feel any of my photos show the real me but they are current with dates. Distance? I live in the Niagara Peninsula’s South West corner 5 minutes from Lake Erie on a hobby farm. I love to get away but can not do it on the drop of a hat for I have to arrange for the animals to be looked after. Sense of humour? I do not think that there is a day go by that I do not laugh or make someone else laugh. Baggage? You do not get to this age without baggage, to the best part it is all stowed away but sometimes events in life trigger my past sad times and happy times and I think we are all entitled to mild reflections at times. First Date? I really think that at this stage of our lives we are mature enough to not only enjoy meeting each other but also enjoy the event it self. Conversation? I am and will always be a creative person, I am not good at small talk and believe me I wish I were. I was brought up in the East End of London England and you must know we are a feisty lot we love a good argument where we all test ourselves and learn. I have no problem understanding and accepting when I am wrong through that I learn. Financially stable? I have no pension plan other than I plan to work until I drop dead. Golf? Do not play it and never will, waste of land and time. Spelling? Now I am not real good at spelling and can only type with one finger but do not mind being corrected. Getting back to you? I work on my MAC all day and sometimes I go through periods of creative blankness and some times I put replies off so long I am embarrassed to reply but I keep promising myself to do better. You know I think this just about covers it. Any questions? I love questions because it does two things helps me form a reply and it indicates interest and that always makes me happy. OOPS! Favourites? If you make me a favourite I will feel honoured and will never remove you as I accept it as a gift but I will never make you a favourite without first asking you. I must say I hate rejection so let us all be kind to each other when we feel the chemistry is not there

I would like to go out to dinner and over good food, a bottle of wine or good draft beer and get to know each other in a risk free manner and lets see where it goes. If it goes no where at least we will have a good meal and a great chat
